High School Student Athletes often look to professional world-class athletes to model their performance after. However, these world-class athletes have rigorous training programs that benefit from recent breakthroughs in the field of sport science, which leads to their competitive advantage. SSTA fills this game for the adolescent-athlete. We research a variety of sport science methodologies available to develop our adolescent-athletes in Connecticut. Our specialist takes into consideration puberty status and physical maturity, which are large determinants of sports performance for the adolescent athlete. Not all adolescents have the same body type or the same response to physical training. They are unique and require individualized training programs as we prepare them for competing in college sports whether they have a scholarship or not. The Athlete’s training progress is objectively monitored throughout the process to ensure outcomes are specific to immediate high school needs and/or future college sports goals.
